If you have an outbreak on your lip area and you are unsure if you are experiencing a cold sore or pimple you are not alone. Many people are unsure of what their outbreak is as a cold sore and a pimple can look similar. Either way, make sure NOT to touch anyone with your lips if you are unsure as if you do have the herpes virus and you are having a cold sore outbreak you will infect others. Make sure to see your doctor right away and they can tell you if what you have is a cold sore or pimple. If you find that you have a pimple you are in luck as this is the better of the two to have. If you find you have a cold sore make sure to start a treatment right away and not infect others while you are experiencing an outbreak.
